X-Men Days of Futurepast

Image
I'm not going to lie. I don't like the X-men films. However, I felt obligated to share this. I don't think it looks particularly great but that's my opinion and I think you should make your own. You can watch the trailer here.

Jumping on the bandwagon

Image
I don't really feel like keeping calm. Be honest, we have all done it at one time or another .  But it's just so boring to be a follower, a sheep. Why not be yourself? I've seen people jump on the bandwagon because they don't want to feel left out or because they think that it's the right thing to do. Even if they don't agree, they still jump right on . Here are some examples of this: CoD (Call of Duty) - There was a time when people actually played this game because they liked the FPS genre, then once Modern Warfare came out, that changed. Players began to play it because the online mode allowed them to play with friends . Which is fine. But then, people began to say the series was good and then.... . people began to jump on the bandwagon. Soon after, everyone started saying that the series was good and you began to look like an outcast if you didn't have it or didn't like it. Luckily though, this has begun to die out. After the disappoin...

Sad News

This picture says it all.  I regret to inform you all that after much deliberation and thought. I have decided to cancel my pre-order for the PS4. This is due mostly to the fact that I am in my final year of University and I need to focus on finishing it and getting all of the work done (there is a lot of work to do). So with that, I thought to myself that if I got the PS4 next month, I would most certainly fail this year because I would be so busy playing PS4. Not to mention, last week I found out that the past two years don't count for anything, so I really need to make sure I pass. But in the new year, I will get PS4. I just wanted to say this so that when it is released and you are all wondering why I haven't posted anything about it. This is the reason why.

Next-Gen. Is it really next?

Image
I couldn't believe GTA V looked this good, but it does. I've pre-ordered a PS4 and in preparation for its arrival, I decided to look at some of the upcoming games coming to the platform. That's when it hit me. I know in time the games will become better looking. But for now, if I'm completely frank. They aren't that impressive. When I say that, I mean in comparison to the top notch 360/PS3 games like: Battlefield and GTA V. They aren't what I was expecting when all of those fanboys and even the developers were describing the look of next gen games. Maybe I'm being naive but, I think PS3 could handle this.  I think that we will only really see the difference between current gen and next gen when the games being created will no longer be multi-platform. Once games like Battlefield and other high-end graphic games are no longer being developed for 360/PS3. Then the Xbox One and PS4's power and graphic prowess will come into effect. I don...

GTA V first impressions.

Image
I finally got GTA V. Almost a week after it came out (I'm still fuming with Amazon). So, I had to take a while to just get into the game (over 60% completion). Also, I wanted to include some impressions of the multiplayer mode. These are my first impressions of GTA V. I want to keep my impressions brief. Nobody wants to an essay on GTA V. And I don't want to write one.  Single Player Ok. I could just say it's amazing and a great improvement on GTA IV. But that would be selling this game short. I think, in terms of the open-world genre. This game is revolutionary. Now, hold your horses. I know the game is still about senseless killing and doing crazy things. But in the case of GTA V, it's full of little things that make up big differences. One example of a little thing that makes a big difference is the activities that all three characters can take part in. The sports are not only fun but they also serve a purpose. If you put the time and effort into them, you...
