I still can't believe it's actaully happened! I thought it would never happen. That it would remain a dream. But finally, Spiderman has come to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Finally. The Avengers can fully assemble.  You can read the article on Marvel's website. This is something that I have dreaming of for so long. It's a little hard to believe it's actually happening. I have to say, I am really happy about this addition to the MCU. The only small downside is that Spiderman's new solo movie means that other phase 3 films will be pushed back slightly. I am especially hurt about Black Panther and Captain Marvel being pushed back. Moreover, with Inhumans being pushed back. It may tamper with the plans set out in Agents of SHIELD. But we shall see. I am sure it will all work out. The dates being pushed back on certain phase 3 films is a minor price to pay in comparison to what the fans will be getting in return. Here's a short video of one of my favourite games on the PS4. It's an Indie title called Transistor. The gameplay is not taken from the story mode so it shouldn't spoil it for you. I know I am writing about this a little late. But the story seems to develop on a daily basis. So I don't really feel that late to the party. What am I talking about I hear you ask? Well, it's all the trouble Sony is having. I was going to mention the new James Bond film in this article. But, I don't think that's necessary. Also, I left the whole story about The Interview. In all honesty. I don't actually care about that side of the Sony hack story. I want to focus on the trouble Spiderman is facing. Spiderman seems to be in big trouble.  I was reading about some proposed plans Sony had/has for the Spiderman franchise. You can read the article here.  I think that Sony are trying too hard to make a different kind of Spidey film. Instead of just using the source material to the best of their ability. So, a recent story that has been very popular for many different reasons, none other than the Sony hacking issue was going to be a big topic I was going to write a two part post about. But, it became too complex and I didn't see the point in posting a puzzle for you to have to decipher. So, instead I am going to condense the article into one post looking back at what happened and my take on it all. This should be posted tomorrow. So look out for it then. I have been away for quite a while. I'm sorry about that. However, there was a valid reason. This was my final year of University and I had to write my dissertation. It was very time consuming. So, I didn't have time to write any posts. The dissertation is now complete so I have loads of free time. This is the first post I've done in a while and I thought I would make it a bit special. So, I have uploaded some of my own gameplay from my own PS4, of Infamous Second Son . Before you even begin to panic, there are no spoilers in the video. I used a combination of techniques to get this video onto YouTube. First, I used the Share Factory app on the PS4 to edit the video and then I copied the file from the PS4's capture gallery onto a USB and then I uploaded the file from the USB onto YouTube. So, no need for  Twitch or Ustream account anymore or Facebook video uploading!! Anyway, I'm glad to be back. Any thoughts on Infamous? Let me know in the comments!

The day has finally arrived. I now have a PS4 in my possession. I think I got a great deal. As you can see in the picture. I got the PS4, Man of Steel  and Despicable Me 2 on Blu-Ray, Assassin's Creed 4 and One Year membership to PS+. All for £425. I'm not going to bother with explaining the unboxing or anything. Rather, I'm just going to say. The PS4 is a great console. It is very easy to use and has a very attractive design. I chose it over the Xbox One not because of a bias or preference towards Sony. I chose it because it was cheaper and it attracted me more than the Xbox One. That being said, when I did play the Xbox One I enjoyed the experience and I think for anyone that buy one or has owns an Xbox One it will entertain them greatly. As you can see in the image, Assassin's Creed 4 was the only physical game I got with the console. It was either Creed 4 or FIFA 14. For me, the choice was obvious. The day has finally come. You can begin to get excited. The release dates for both PS4 and Xbox One have been revealed. First up, I'll give you the Xbox One release dates for North America and Europe and Australia: You can finally put a date in your calendar North America: November 22nd UK : November 22nd Australia : November 22nd IGN also listed some other regions, you can check those out  here. Moving onto the PS4. This was already unveiled at the Gamescom conference a few weeks ago, but I'm going to mention it anyway. November can't come soon enough North America: November 15th Australia, New Zealand and the UK : November 29th IGN once again listed some other regions which can be checked out  here. Silly Sony, they do some shocking things. You know how this goes. This constant fixation on graphics - I find this so infuriating. I like substance over style. To me, Sony and their fans just seem to look to aesthetics and then talk about gameplay. Just watch any Sony conference to see what I'm talking about. The PS4 unveiling conference. It was just full of tech demos and cutscenes . Then they tried to say all of the games will look that during gameplay, then at E3. They just didn't. But what annoys me the most is the fan response to this stuff. They always blow things out of proportion.  There are so many games I have played on PS3 that people said were aesthetically amazing, only to find the game was boring and wasn't actually that good in my opinion. Once such game was Heavenly Sword, everyone said it looked amazing, which it did. But. The game was so boring!! I just think people should stop saying games are good because they appear to be good. Sorry, you are not the ONE  for me. Before you even say it. NO, I AM NOT A SONY FANBOY!! In fact, I don't own a PS3 or a Vita. The last Sony console I bought was  PS2, I skipped the PS3. I didn't buy an Xbox but I bought an Xbox 360. So as you can see, I'm not really loyal to either. I like both for different reasons I also hate both for different reasons.  But that is a discussion for a different day. I've been having trouble deciding how I was going to write this. I was going to write an essay, but who has time to read that? Nobody, that's who. This post isn't going to be a long, detailed rant about the game industry. Rather, it's going to be a list of things that really annoy me about the industry or things I hate about it. I love everything about gaming, so I am not going to be holding back. That means Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo plus any developers I can think if will be included in the list. SEGA has kept making more Sonic games. Seriously SEGA, NOBODY WANTS SONIC ANYMORE!! GIVE US SHENMUE 3 ALREADY!!! Nintendo is always behind on technological trends. Nintendo, there is no need to do this. You have money, put some of it into making a futureproof  home console. Ubisoft making annual Assassin's Creed games. Come on Ubisoft, it's obvious you are just doing this for the money now.  Activision release CoD annually yet, the game has remained fundamentally the same since CoD 3. *sigh* Sony fanboys  constantly talking about graphics.
